Have you ever picked up a package of incense with a pleasant name like "lavender" or "rosemary" only to discover that it has an overpowering perfume scent that has nothing to do with its name? We have too - and this is not that type of incense. Nantucket Spider Garden Sticks are handmade and scented only with steam distilled and cold pressed essential oils. Our sticks are much thicker and longer than regular incense sticks (11.75" long and about 1/4" thick with a substantial stem to place in planters or the earth) and burn for about 90 minutes, adding to your enjoyment of the great outdoors all evening long. Our first glimpse of these Garden Sticks brought us back to New England childhood summers when smoldering cattails or "punk sticks" would be lit as we played outside until dark. While these sticks smell so wonderful that you may be tempted to bring them inside, their long burn time and fragrant smoke generation requires that they be burned outdoors or in a well-ventilated space such as a screened porch. Nantucket Spider Garden Sticks have been ethically sourced from a Fair Trade factory in India that complies with modern international working standards and employs disadvantaged women who are paid fair wages. INGREDIENTS: Wood infused with Essential Oils of Lavender, Lemongrass, Orange, Rosemary, Tea Tree and Peppermint.

Directions: Hold horizontally when lighting. Allow the tip of the stick to catch on fire and burn for 10 seconds. Blow the flame out and the stick will continue to smolder. Sticks can be relit. Burn time 90 minutes. Trim the end and place in the ground away from vegetation. Place one or more sticks near sitting area. CAUTION: OUTDOOR USE ONLY. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. DO NOT LEAVE UNATENDED WHILE LIT. MAKE SURE THE STICK CANNOT COME INTO CONTACT WITH VEGETATION OR FLAMMABLE OBJECTS.
