While they are very popular in the health food industry,and we carry them by request of our customers, we want to inform you of the controversy. There are basically two major issues.These stones, like all "anti-perspirants" work by closing off the normal sweat pores and thereby circumventing one of the bodys natural methods for eliminating toxins and modulating heat. Second, some sources consider them to be a raw form of aluminum and possible absorption is thereby a concern. The manufacturer denies both of these concerns. We suggest you educate yourself and make an informed decision with knowledge of the concerns and the responses on both sides of this issue.
